How to Use the AC-130 in Blow Up The City

A 30mm gun run along intact streets — not a 149 Robux way to shoot rubble.

How to Use the AC-130

The AC-130 gamepass costs 149 Robux. Airstrike Industries describes it in one line: take control of the gunship and shoot 30mm rounds. That is the entire official manual. This page turns that line into a use case so you do not buy a flying cannon and then hose a crater.

If you do not own the pass yet, rank it against X2 Cash and ICBM first. AC-130 is a playstyle pass. X2 Cash is a farm pass. ICBM is a button pass.

What you are buying

You are buying a steerable gun run. Official art already shows jets and a stealth bomber over the city; AC-130 is the version you pilot. It sits next to Attack Heli from Update 1.5. Attack Heli is an in-game strike you buy with cash. AC-130 is a Robux vehicle layer. If you only want to try a gunship feel, spend earned cash on Attack Heli before you spend 149 Robux.

How to fly a useful run

  1. Join a private server or a fresh public city. A gunship over ash is a sightseeing tour.
  2. Pack the street if you own Unlimited NPCs, or at least pick a row that still has interiors — see how to destroy buildings.
  3. Activate AC-130 from the shop/pass UI. Expect a camera shift. Exact binds are not published; treat fire as the standard Roblox activation plus a hold-to-shoot once you are in the gun view. Details we will not invent live on Controls.
  4. Walk the 30mm down the long axis of a street, not into a single rooftop. The pass is a line weapon pretending to be a plane.
  5. End the run when the row is down. Do not circle a crater hoping for extra coins.

When AC-130 beats a bomb

Use it on:

  • Long walk-up streets.
  • A train you can lead.
  • A bridge you can rake from bank to bank.

Use a bomb, Nuke, or ICBM instead on:

  • A compact 2×2 of towers (a circle is enough).
  • A map you intend to delete in one click.
  • A laggy eight-player public server where extra simulated rounds hitch the physics.

Money

AC-130 does not print cash by itself. It converts time-on-target into destruction. If you still need money, X2 Cash at 99 Robux is the better first pass, then come back. If you already have Unlimited Cash, AC-130 is a toy with the ammo gate removed — that is a valid sandbox, just not a farm guide.

Common mistakes

  • Buying AC-130 as your first pass, then realizing you still cannot afford other strikes because you never learned how to earn cash.
  • Firing 30mm into Update 1.5 scorched craters.
  • Using it as a substitute for ICBM. ICBM is “most damage from space.” AC-130 is control.
  • Learning it on a busy public map. Other players will Nuke your row while you are still lining up.

After the gun run

Drop back to ground view, check the shop, and decide whether the next purchase is Attack Heli (cash), Nuke (cash), or a hop to a new city. The pass does not expire; the skyline does.

If the gunship camera or 30mm fire bugs out, report it as early-testing feedback on the Roblox page. Then read Getting Started again if you skipped the loop and jumped straight into Robux toys.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for airstrikes, cash, codes, Update 1.5, and the Update 2 teaser.

How much is the AC-130 pass?

149 Robux. It lets you control the gunship and fire 30mm rounds.

Is Attack Heli the same as AC-130?

No. Attack Heli is an Update 1.5 cash strike. AC-130 is a Robux pass with 30mm control.

Should I buy AC-130 or X2 Cash first?

X2 Cash if you want money. AC-130 if you already enjoy flying a gun run.

Can I use AC-130 without Unlimited Cash?

Yes. The pass is the gunship. You still play the normal cash loop unless you also bought Unlimited Cash.
