How to Use Nuke in Blow Up The City

A cash spectacle. Save it for standing mass — never for a scorched public crater.

How to Use Nuke

Nuke is the first name in the live Update 1.5 list for Blow Up The City. It is a cash airstrike, not a Robux pass. The pass that launches “from space” is ICBM at 199 Robux. Mixing those two is how players buy the wrong button and then blame the patch.

This page is the targeting brief. Rank lives on the airstrike tier list: headline B for value, S for impact on an untouched skyline. If you only wanted a letter, you could stop there. If you want the next shot to pay, keep reading.

What Nuke actually is

Airstrike Industries has not published blast radius, restock, or HP tables. Treat every number you see on a random thumbnail as unofficial. What we can verify from the game page and from play:

  • Nuke is listed in the official 1.5 block, ahead of buildings, bridges, train, weather, and Attack Heli.
  • It is sold for in-game cash, so Unlimited Cash will feed it and X2 Cash will double whatever the crater pays.
  • It is easy to screenshot and easy to waste. That combination is why it is not S-tier for farming.

If a loader or a look-alike wiki calls this “auto nuke,” they are talking about Nuke Your City, a different place with droppers. This sandbox does not grow a cardboard rocket offline.

When to fire

Fire Nuke when all of these are true:

  1. The skyline still has clustered mass — glass towers, walk-ups, a crane lot, or a bridge with buildings on both banks.
  2. You can afford to miss and still play. A nuke that clips one house is a trailer, not a farm.
  3. Nobody else in the eight-player server is already mid-drop on the same block. Two nukes on one street pay once.

Do not fire Nuke when:

  • The lot is already black glass. Update 1.5 improved crater scorching so you can see this.
  • You are chasing the train in an empty cutting. Lead moving HP with Attack Heli or AC-130.
  • You still cannot buy a repeatable mid bomb. Learn the loop in How to Play first.

How to aim it

Stand where the blast can overlap two lots minimum. A lonely monument looks like the thumbnail and pays like a tutorial dummy. Three ordinary buildings that share walls pay like a district.

Useful shapes:

  • 2×2 of towers — the clean nuke. Circle covers four footprints.
  • Bridge + both banks — the 1.5 nuke. The deck is a connector; the payday is the lots it touches.
  • Crane + site — vertical plus a dense pad. One shot can clip both if you are not greedy about the skyline behind it.

Useless shapes:

  • One remaining hut after a public farm.
  • A crater you “want to finish.”
  • A train you cannot lead because the reticle is slow.

If the HUD still feels opaque, Controls stays honest: there is no official keybind card. Find the strike shop, buy Nuke, then place the reticle on standing mass. If the name is missing after a rejoin, you may be on a cached server — hop, then report it as early-testing feedback on the Roblox game page.

Nuke versus ICBM versus weather

NukeCashCircle of standing mass
ICBM199 RobuxBigger circle, same waste risk
Tornado / EarthquakeCashWide district, not a sniper
Attack HeliCashLine down a street or train

Weather tools have their own page: disasters. Do not spend Nuke to “snipe” a crane the weather would miss anyway — use a mid bomb.

Server choice

Public cities with ~1,800 people in the experience and an eight-player cap turn into ash in minutes. If you bought Nuke to put a mushroom on a poster, use a private server. The game page says those are free. Private plus Unlimited NPCs is a showcase. Public plus Nuke is a donation to whoever got there first.

For cash, a cash run on a fresh public join still beats a nuke into a crater. Read the skyline, spend a cheap drop, then Nuke only if a whole cluster is still up.

After the shot

Bank the payout immediately. Buy radius you can fire again, not a second spectacle. The loop in how to earn cash does not change because the trailer got louder. If the lot is now scorched, rotate. Do not “confirm the kill.”

When Update 2 ships, compare restock and name changes against this page. Until the Roblox description actually changes, Nuke is still the 1.5 cash headline, not a pass and not a code.

There are still no working promo codes that grant Nuke. Bookmark codes. There is still no verified script that auto-fires this place’s nuke — ignore Nuke Your City loaders on Scripts.

If you only remember one sentence: Nuke is a circle you spend on a city that is still a city.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for airstrikes, cash, codes, Update 1.5, and the Update 2 teaser.

Is Nuke a gamepass?

No. Nuke is a cash strike from Update 1.5. ICBM is the 199 Robux pass that launches from space.

Why did my Nuke do nothing?

The lot was already scorched, the reticle missed the cluster, or another player hit the same block first. Aim at standing mass on a fresh skyline.

Should I buy Nuke or Attack Heli first?

Buy a repeatable bomb first, then Attack Heli if you want a gun run. Nuke is a headline you fire after you can afford to miss.

Does X2 Cash affect Nuke payouts?

Yes. X2 Cash doubles cash per strike, including Nuke, if anything is still standing to pay.

Will Update 2 change Nuke?

Unknown. The 9 September 2026 description only teased a Saturday date. Confirm in the shop on patch day.
