Blow Up The City Update 1.5 Notes

The patch that added Nuke, weather, Attack Heli, and a train you can actually hit.

Update 1.5

Update 1.5 is the live patch advertised on the Blow Up The City Roblox page. This is not a leak. Every item below is copied from the official description, then explained so you can spend cash without guessing.

If you have not played since launch week (19 August 2026), treat 1.5 as a new game: more HP on the map, clearer craters, and a shop that includes spectacle tools.

Nuke

A high-impact cash strike. Screenshot fuel. Easy to waste on one house or on a public crater. Ranked as a headline B on the airstrike tier list until you have a fresh skyline. It is not the ICBM pass — ICBM is Robux and “from space.”

Eight new buildings and two bridges

More clustered HP. This is the quiet part of the patch and the part that actually feeds cash runs. Bridges pay when both banks still have buildings. A bare deck is scenery. Targeting: how to destroy buildings.

Working train

A moving row of HP. Lead it with Attack Heli or AC-130. Miss it with a slow Nuke reticle. Hit it when it sits next to houses, not in an empty cutting.

Improved crater scorching

Readable ash. The patch is telling you to stop shooting dead lots. If a lot is black glass, hop or rotate. This is the best QoL line in the notes and the reason old “I hit it twice” complaints should die.

Tornado and Earthquake

Wide disruption. A-tier on standing districts, poor on a single crane. Pack NPCs if you want the street to look like the poster while the weather eats it.

Attack Heli

Steerable cash strike. Try this before you buy the AC-130 pass. Same fantasy, different currency. See How to Play for when a gun run beats a dumb bomb.

More cash per strike

The economy buff. If you still earn nothing, you are in a cratered eight-player city, not in a “broken” 1.5 shop. Follow how to earn cash.

What 1.5 did not add

  • Promo codes — codes hub is still empty.
  • Badges — the universe still lists none.
  • An official control card — Controls stays honest.
  • A Discord or Trello.

Play 1.5 as a targeting patch first and a spectacle patch second. Nuke is the trailer. Bridges, train, craters, and extra cash are the game. When Update 2 ships, compare its list against this page instead of against a different Roblox city’s notes.

A practical 1.5 checklist after you join: find a bridge, find the train, look at a crater, then open the shop for Attack Heli, Tornado, Earthquake, and Nuke. If any of those names are missing, you may be on a cached server — rejoin. If they are present and still pay nothing, you are aiming at ash, not at a “nerfed” patch. That checklist is also the airstrike planner with 1.5 nouns filled in.

If a creator’s video still shows launch-week streets with no bridges, they recorded before 1.5. Do not copy their shop order. Your map has extra HP and clearer craters. Play the patch you actually loaded, not the thumbnail from August.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for airstrikes, cash, codes, Update 1.5, and the Update 2 teaser.

Is Nuke part of Update 1.5?

Yes. It is listed first in the official 1.5 block.

Did 1.5 add AC-130?

No. AC-130 is a Robux gamepass. Attack Heli is the 1.5 cash gunship.

Did payouts go up?

The official notes say more cash per strike. Intact clusters still matter more than the buff.

Should I relearn the map?

Yes. New buildings, two bridges, and a train change where clusters sit.

Do I need to reinstall the game for 1.5?

No. Rejoin the Roblox place. If Attack Heli, bridges, or the train are missing, hop servers. Cached instances happen in early testing.
